Data covered by this policy
Consumer health data may include a facial photo you choose to upload, the eye-area visualization you select, generated images, assessment output, and information you voluntarily enter into consultation-planning tools. SurgeryViz does not use this information to diagnose a condition or determine treatment.
Why we collect and use it
We process this data only to provide the feature you request, secure and troubleshoot the service, reopen your saved result, respond to support, and comply with applicable law. Photo processing requires a separate affirmative consent immediately before upload.
Sources
We receive this data directly from you, from the device or browser you use to submit it, and from service records created while fulfilling your request.
Sharing
We share only the data needed to operate the requested feature with infrastructure, storage, email, security, authentication, and image-processing vendors. Facial photos are not shared with advertising platforms, data brokers, or ordinary product-analytics tools. Sensitive assessment, result, dashboard, assistant, and provider-search routes suppress ordinary advertising and product-analytics scripts.
Sale and targeted advertising
SurgeryViz does not sell consumer health data and does not use facial photos or assessment results for targeted advertising.
Your choices and rights
You may ask to access, delete, or withdraw consent for consumer health data by emailing support@surgeryviz.com. Where applicable, you may also ask to correct data or appeal a decision about a request. We may need to verify the request and may retain limited records when required for security, fraud prevention, legal, or accounting obligations.
Retention
Assessment photos and generated images are kept while needed to provide and reopen the service unless you request deletion sooner. SurgeryViz does not claim a fixed automatic deletion period until that control is technically enforced. Verified deletion requests are completed as described in the general Privacy Policy.
