Terms of Service

These terms cover who can use SurgeryViz, how email access and uploaded images are handled, and the limits of an informational planning tool.

Last updated August 13, 2026

Quick summary

In plain English

What access includes

A complete digital report and simulation free with email. You are not receiving medical advice or a guaranteed outcome.

Your responsibilities

Upload only images you own or are allowed to use, and use accurate contact details so delivery and support can work.

Main legal limit

SurgeryViz is an informational planning tool. Treatment decisions still belong with a qualified medical professional.

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding agreement to use SurgeryViz. By using the service, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to upload the images and materials you submit.

  • Use current, accurate contact information so results and support responses can reach you.
  • Upload only images you own or have permission to use.
  • Do not use SurgeryViz for unlawful, misleading, abusive, or infringing activity.
  • Do not attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, overload, probe, or bypass security or access controls.

Email access and delivery

SurgeryViz currently provides the complete report and saved assessment materials free with the email and consent tied to the run or associated account. No credit card or payment is required.

Access is delivered electronically through the results page, transactional email, and any linked dashboard access. Email ownership is not verified, so you are responsible for entering an address you control.

SurgeryViz may apply reasonable usage limits or suspend access to prevent abuse, protect patient images, or keep the free service available.

  • Email access grants use of the generated digital output; it does not transfer ownership of the SurgeryViz service or software.
  • Historical purchases remain subject to the terms and refund policy in effect when they were made.

User content and permissions

You retain ownership of the images and other content you upload. By submitting that content, you grant SurgeryViz a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, store, reproduce, and display it only as necessary to provide the assessment, save results, prevent abuse, and support your access.

For surgery pricing documents, the processing permission is limited to receiving, securing, screening, redacting, extracting, comparing, exporting, and deleting the submitted materials as described in the pricing workflow and Privacy Policy. Any use in aggregate research depends on your separate optional consent.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and consents needed for the content you submit and that your uploads do not violate privacy, publicity, copyright, or other rights of any person or entity.

Medical disclaimer

SurgeryViz is intended for educational visualization and consultation preparation. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, mitigate, cure, or prevent a disease or condition, determine candidacy, recommend a procedure, or predict an individual clinical outcome.

The service cannot account for an in-person examination, medical history, healing variability, surgical technique, or provider judgment. Decisions about treatment should always be made with a qualified medical professional.

Provider discovery and third-party listings

Provider discovery combines live Google Maps practice listings with separate official public records such as NPPES. Google listing details, ratings, and review counts are third-party content and may be incomplete, outdated, or changed by the listing owner or Google.

SurgeryViz does not endorse, recommend, credential, rank, or guarantee any provider. Ratings and reviews do not establish clinical quality, licensure, board certification, insurance participation, availability, suitability, or expected outcomes. Verify official records and interview providers directly before making a decision.

Your use of linked Google Maps content is also subject to Google’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

Availability and changes

SurgeryViz may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, including to improve performance, address security concerns, comply with law, or change product scope. The service may be temporarily unavailable because of maintenance, outages, or circumstances outside SurgeryViz control.

SurgeryViz may also revise these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after updated terms are posted means you accept the revised terms.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SurgeryViz and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of goodwill, medical decisions, or treatment outcomes arising from or related to use of the service.

For the free service, SurgeryViz liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law. Historical purchase claims remain subject to the terms in effect when that purchase occurred.

Contact and governing terms

Questions about these terms, account access, or a potential violation should be sent to support@surgeryviz.com. SurgeryViz may enforce these terms to protect the service, its users, and its business operations.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
